I have always enjoyed a variety of artistic interests. After retiring I finally could manage the time to start painting. I was initially inspired and encouraged by Ingrid Boot’s detailed art – I have always loved her work.
Although having started in acrylics, I managed to progress onto oils; I really enjoy working with this medium.
My happy place is spending time in my cute art studio in Red Beach. I volunteer at Estuary Arts, belong to a local art group in Orewa and enjoy living here on the Coast with my husband.
